Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine; Blade loses director weeks before production; The Planet of the Apes franchise continues.

- 20th Century Studios has confirmed the cast and title of the next Planet of the Apes movie. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, from director Wes Ball, will star Owen Teague alongside newly announced cast members Freya Allen and Peter Macon


- Hugh Jackman is coming out of superhero retirement to play Wolverine again. Ryan Reynolds released a video on Twitter confirming the Aussie actors return to the role in the upcoming Deadpool 3.


- Marvel Studios’ Blade loses director Bassam Tariq two months before production begins. Blade, which has a release date of November 3, 2023, was gearing up to begin shooting in November in Atlanta.


- Paramount has officially removed Star Trek 4 from its slate, scrubbing the film's Dec. 22, 2023 release date. Not surprisingly after Adam Shackman exited after deciding to go for Marvels Fantastic 4.


- Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has opened up about not recasting the role of T’Challa in the Black Panther sequel Wakanda Forever after Chadwick Boseman’s death, stating "It just felt like it was much too soon.".
