WHO ARE THE DAUGHTERS OF ATLAS?
The Daughters of Atlas are a rare character for comic book movies, in the sense that they haven't actually appeared in the comics before. Ultimately they are made up of three sisters; Hespera (Helen Mirren), Kalypso (Lucy Lui) and Anthea (Rachel Zegler), like other comic characters they take inspiration from Greek mythology.
Hepera is the oldest of the three sisters and Guard of the Tree of Life, she is seeking retribution for the death of her father and other gods. Kalypso is most certainly the most evil of the three. She holds the Power of Chaos, which allows her to control the minds of mortals with a mere whisper, and is seeking revenge on the humans. Anthea is the most human of the three and holds the Power of Axis. This allows her to rotate the earth around her at her own will.
WHO IS ATLAS?
Shazam got his powers by saying that exact word. Each of the letters in SHAZAM are one of his powers, one of which came from the Titan Atlas. This power was stamina, which Atlas historically used to "hold up the sky for eternity".
The mighty Greek warrior was meant to be the protector of the innocent but turned down a dark path in his conquest to become the greatest combatant ever, which he has proved. Atlas has appeared in DC comics before, none more famed than his fight with Superman. The introduction of Atlas' daughters could mean this character gets brought into future movies.
