October 3, 2025
Spooky season has officially arrived, and STUDIOCANAL Presents is celebrating with a Halloween-ready line-up packed with demonic possessions, Hammer Horror mayhem, and a deep dive into one of the century’s most chilling ghost stories. But if horror isn’t your thing, don’t worry — there’s also high-octane racing and rock ‘n’ roll rebellion to balance out the bloodshed.
Here’s everything streaming this October on the platform.
EVIL DEAD TRIPLE BILL
Evil Dead (2013)
Fede Alvarez delivers a brutally unrelenting reimagining of Sam Raimi’s classic. Jane Levy (Don’t Breathe) stars as a young woman battling addiction — and demonic entities — when she and her friends stumble upon a cursed book in a remote cabin. Expect blood. Lots of it.
Evil Dead II (1987)
Bruce Campbell returns as Ash for what is part sequel, part remake, and fully unhinged. Chainsaws, shotguns and slapstick splatter combine in Sam Raimi’s definitive horror-comedy masterpiece. Groovy!
Evil Dead Rise (2023)
Taking the franchise to the city for the first time, Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground) pits two estranged sisters against flesh-possessing demons in a high-rise nightmare. Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings) makes for a terrifying Deadite.
HAMMER HORROR CLASSICS
Doctor Jekyll and Sister Hyde (1971)
One of Hammer’s boldest twists on Victorian horror, this gender-swapped spin on Stevenson’s classic stars Ralph Bates and Martine Beswick in dual — and sinister — roles.

The Plague of the Zombies (1966)
Set in a remote Cornish village, this eerie tale of undead miners predates Night of the Living Dead and helped shape the modern zombie genre. Directed by John Gilling (The Mummy’s Shroud).
DOCUMENTARY SPOTLIGHT
A Look Back at The Others (2023)
Go behind the scenes of Alejandro Amenábar’s BAFTA-nominated ghost story starring Nicole Kidman. Featuring new interviews with cast and crew, this doc explores the making and legacy of one of the 2000s’ most haunting films.
ROCK & ROLL & RIVALRIES
Rush (2013)
Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl go head-to-head as racing legends James Hunt and Niki Lauda in Ron Howard’s turbo-charged true story of rivalry, risk and respect.
The Doors (1991)
Val Kilmer gives one of his greatest performances as Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s surreal, hypnotic portrait of excess, rebellion and rock stardom.
