Apple TV+ rolls out an action-packed week with the global premiere of The Lost Bus, plus new episodes from some fan favourites and the launch of a fresh animated series for all ages.

Global Premiere: The Lost Bus

From Oscar-nominated director Paul Greengrass, The Lost Bus is a white-knuckle thriller inspired by real events. Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey stars as a school bus driver caught in one of America’s deadliest wildfires, forced to team up with a dedicated teacher, America Ferrera (Emmy, SAG & Golden Globe winner), to protect 22 children from the blaze.

Written by Greengrass and Brad Ingelsby, and based on Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire by Lizzie Johnson, the film was born when Jamie Lee Curtis heard Johnson on NPR and brought the story into the fold at Blumhouse. Johnson also serves as an executive producer. The cast includes Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson.

The Lost Bus premieres globally October 3, 2025, on Apple TV+.

Slow Horses — Season 5, Episode 2

In the espionage drama that blends sharp wit with spycraft, suspicions rise when tech whiz Roddy Ho unexpectedly begins dating someone glamorous. Meanwhile, a string of odd events sweeps London, and the Slow Horses find themselves connecting the dots. In episode two, Jackson Lamb intercepts an assassin, and Taverner lands a significant piece of intelligence tied to the Abbotsfield shooting.

Led by Gary Oldman as Lamb, the ensemble cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Jonathan Pryce, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, and others. This season also features guest star Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso).

Now streaming: Season 5, Episode 2. New episodes drop every Wednesday through October 29, 2025.

The Morning Show — Season 4, Episode 3

Set in a fractured media landscape, season four thrusts its characters into a world fuelled by conspiracy, deepfakes, and corporate intrigue. In “The Tipping Point,” Alex is blindsided by an unexpected reunion at a climate conference, Bradley pursues a source, and Mia interviews for a promotion.

The series features Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Jon Hamm, and more. Executive producers and showrunners include Michael Ellenberg, Kristin Hahn, Lauren Neustadter, Stoudt, and Leder.

Now streaming: Season 4, Episode 3. New episodes arrive every Wednesday through November 19, 2025.

The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy — Season 3, Episode 4

In this week’s episode, “Living the Royal Life in the UK,” Eugene Levy receives the tour of a lifetime through Windsor Castle, guided personally by The Prince of Wales.

Season 3 sends Levy to eight countries — from South Korea to Mexico — each offering new perspectives. Guests include Michael Bublé, Sarah Levy, NOWZ, and cricket legend Rahul Dravid. Produced by Twofour, the show is executive produced by Levy, David Brindley, Nic Patten, Sara Brailsford, Iain Peckham and Lily Fitzpatrick.

Watch it now — episode four premiered globally Friday, September 26 on Apple TV+.

Invasion — Season 3, Episode 7

The stakes escalate in “Outpost 17,” where the team enters the Dead Zone only to find an unanticipated threat hiding in wait. With the aliens’ ultimate forces revealed, old relationships strain and new alliances must form.

Produced by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, Invasion stars Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza, and Erika Alexander.

Episode 7 premieres this Friday on Apple TV+.

The Sisters Grimm — New Animated Series

Inspired by Michael Buckley’s bestselling books, The Sisters Grimm tells the story of two orphaned sisters, Sabrina (voiced by Ariel Winter) and Daphne (Leah Newman), who navigate a town filled with fairy-tale figures while seeking their missing parents. The voice cast also features Laraine Newman, Abubakar Salim, Billy Harris, and Harry Trevaldwyn.

Helmed by showrunners Amy Higgins and Erica Rothschild, with animation by Titmouse, the complete first season drops Friday, October 3, 2025, globally on Apple TV+.

F1 The Movie — Now on Premium VOD

From Apple Original Films and the Top Gun: Maverick creative team comes F1 The Movie. Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a former F1 phenom coaxed back into the fast lane by his old teammate Ruben Cervantes (played by Javier Bardem). Hayes teams with rookie Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), but in F1, the line between partner and rival is razor thin — and the past always finds its way to the finish line.

Now available to stream on premium video-on-demand and for digital purchase.
